What counts as a drop
A useful alert starts with the same sailing, same line, and same pricing basis. If the current fare is lower than the last recorded fare, that is a tracked drop.
A supplier discount can explain why a fare is attractive, but it does not prove urgency by itself. The stronger evidence is a dated fare move or a new low in the sailing history.
